 We Offer Support

Support Gro up  - meets the last Tuesday of every month at 5:30 at Clearview Cancer Institute.  Family members and caregivers meet at the same time and location in a breakout session.  Neither group is intended for the purpose of medical advice. Both groups exist for the purpose of sharing helpful and practical ways of dealing with ovarian cancer.

Distribution of informational materials to survivors and newly diagnosed patients.

We Reach Out

Outreach to newly diagnosed patients - newly diagnosed patients receive resource packets via their oncologist or gynecologic oncologist while in the hospital.

We Raise Awareness

Outreach and Advocacy Group - Our advocacy committee is determined to make a difference in our region!  This committee is open to anyone who wants to raise awareness about ovarian cancer in the Tennessee Valley.  This group is responsible for media releases, health fair distributions, and widespread awareness in our region.

Teal Talks and Survivors Teaching Students are public speaking programs for the public and for medical professionals to educate others about ovarian cancer using survivor stories and medical facts.

The Garden of Life and Remembranc e  serves as a permanent location to visibly remind the public about ovarian cancer and serves as a place to celebrate milestones or remember those we have lost.

We Speak Out

Our Legislative  Action Team  stays aware of important legislative action affecting ovarian cancer.
